SMALL SHIFTS
Working at the level of the body, changing how people regulate, recover, and function in everyday life.
Calmer. Clearer. More capable.
There’s no shortage of advice on stress, sleep, and wellbeing.
But for many people, it’s not knowing what to do, it’s being able to actually do it when the day is already full.
People are working within ongoing demand, without much opportunity to fully recover between it. This starts to show up in how clearly people think, how they respond, and how they feel across the day.
This is about how the body responds to demand and how that response can be supported through simple breath and movement practices.
It’s built on small shifts that fit into real moments, between tasks, before conversations, or as pressure begins to build.
What we do
Structured programmes using breath and movement to support how the body responds to demand.
Used across a range of settings - from teams working under sustained demand to individuals looking to feel and function more effectively day to day.
Workforce
Supporting teams to regulate under pressure, maintain focus, and recover across the working day.
Community
Supporting people to feel more able to engage with everyday life, activity, and support.
Programme
A structured approach using breath and movement to support how the body responds to demand.
“Despite being under more stress currently, I feel more equipped to manage it.”
Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust participant
Evidence-informed, grounded in practice
The approach is grounded in current research and established physiological principles.
In a recent evaluation delivered in partnership with an NHS Trust in Cornwall, staff reported reduced stress, improved sleep, and a greater sense of calm following a structured breath and movement programme.
Even in high-pressure environments, small, practical interventions made a meaningful difference. This underpins the approach, practical, non-clinical support that fits into real working lives.

“Some of the highest engagement we’ve seen across the Trust. Staff in high-pressure roles made time for it, and reported feeling better able to manage stress and stay present during demanding days.”

“The techniques made an immediate difference. I’ve felt calmer, more balanced, and better able to stay focused during busy days. It’s now part of my daily routine.”
